Southwark Music are delighted to be part of the new South East London Music Hub. The newly formed Music Hub will be led by; Bexley Music, Bromley Youth Music Trust, Royal Greenwich Music Service, Lambeth Music Service, Lewisham Music and Southwark Music.
As the current music hub leads for our respective Boroughs, we will bring extensive expertise and experience to deliver diverse and high-quality programmes, ensuring that children and young people from across South East London can progress their musical journey in a way which suits their needs and interests.
This is an exciting opportunity for Southwark Music and our hub partners to build upon the fantastic work already taking place in South East London, working collaboratively to ensure creativity, inclusivity and opportunity for all.
The development of this strategic partnership is part of a national investment by the Department for Education, managed by Arts Council England, to ensure music is accessible to all.
The South East London Music Hub is one of 43 new Hub Lead organisations, which will be co-ordinating music education in regions across the country. Working with schools, community groups and individuals, hub partners deliver instrumental and curriculum lessons, workshops, ensembles, choirs, concerts, music training for teachers and much more.
